..I got this right before I blow up my stereo system.

Power wire from battery (fused) runs to a dist. block. One power wire goes to the 4 channel amp and another power wire goes to my cap, then from the cap to the sub amp. Cap and amps get ground seperately.

Is that correct? :)

Well the ground can be the same because they're the same ground anyway--the whole car uses the same ground so you can use the same ground point in the trunk or wherever.

As for the distribution block, you have to consider if you want to "capacitate" the power on all amps or just one. Note that for a cap to work well you want the lowest possible resistance from the cap to the amp, so it is recommended to either run all amps directly from the cap or just run one amp, directly from the cap, instead of running the cap to a distribution block and then to the amps.

So the way you've got it there seems fine, "regular" power to the 4ch amp and "cap" power to the sub amp. If the sub amp does not have internal fusing, fuse the power before it gets to the cap instead of after. If the amp has built in fusing you really can't do anything about that. (Again caps work better if there is less resistance to the amp and fuses do create some small resistance which impedes the performance of a cap in terms of holding up voltage for the amp.)

Ok, cool. Thanks. :)

Now, anyone know anything about carpeting? The one panel (wood) I made has a 'window' in it for the cap. Now, outside corners are a breeze, but how do you get total coverage around the inside of the window edge? It's 5/8" thick.
