Plans for my ride are as follows:
RK Sport Bodykit (4dr)
APC Halo Foglights
Shaved Handles
RK Sport Ram Air Hood
Black Headlights (eBaY)
Black on Polished 18" Wheels

The pic below contains all of the mods listed above, but is on the coupe (2dr) version. Everything pretty much looks the same...

Comments, suggestions?

(Side Note- I did look at other bodykits for the 2005, but the Walker, Vader, and Combat did not appeal to me because to looked to "import-ish" for my taste.)

Id take the RKSport kit just for the fact it is sort of domestic and that it is made out of Urethane, definately worth the money

How could it?

The RKS kit is the only one that I ever considered. It looks like it belongs on the car.

Jim see i think different. my friend has the rksport kit. both our cars side by said, the AED kit looks like it would come from the factory that way. more so than the rks.

like the aed is more 'pontiacish' than the rks. i do like the sides and the rear fromt he rks kit. but i dont feel the front to much.its to long a bulky. i just think that if pontiac were to make a kit it would look more like the aed than the rks

to each their own i guess.

Does anyone have a link to the AED kit? The Plans include fusing the kit to the fender, and that was included in the photochop.

sounds like a lot of money you plan to spend on it...

before you get started, also consider saving for the next vehicle. not telling you to not do it, just make sure you'll be happy with the result.

but by the plans you've made, sounds like it would be a cool car.

I would guess door poppers.

The bodykit for the 2dr is $1,095, 4dr $1,295. You can find them at rksport.com or AndysAutoSport.com. The hood can be found at RKsport as well ($595.00) Hood w/ carbon fiber blister ($845) at AAS. The headlights can be found on eBaY for around $180, the foglights can be found at any auto store including WalMart ($35+), Those wheels can be found at TireRack.com, and I believe they run $219 /ea. Tires prices vary by selection. Myself, it will be $356 total for 4 Kuhmo ECSTA Supra 712's.

And yes, Door poppers are required for shaved handles. (i'd hate to explain that one to your insurance agent every time you need to get in the car) Autoloc on EBAY sells the 2dr kits for $175.

And Dave, I do have the funds, but I still have a budget. Look for this project to be completed by this time next year. I still have yet to find a place to stay...

Exactly like that pic, huh? You know how much a coupe chop costs these days? Lol...

On a serious note. You may change your mind several times. At least I hope you do. The idea of me doing this was to be original. Try to be different, even if it means painting your car a different shade of white.

you forgot to add painting ...a good paint job can be expensive along with the bodywork also shipping on the kit will be a little chunk of change

Free shipping on bodykits with AAS when sponsored car club. I've got a sponsor that will cover the painting. As far as bodywork, the painter's shop will be doing that as well...

door poppers are NOT required but recomenable. solenoids ARE required.
in my GA i drove around with out poppers for about a month. the ones i had on my blazer were crappy. i got the autoloc poppers from www.suicidedoors.com and they work great. but like i said theya re not needed. the solenoids have enough force to open the door. the poppers just help to push the door open further

well it looks like youve got it all planned out.

if you want to be original then dont post pics until after youve done the work. people will always take good ideas. once youve done the work and post the finished pics, people will still take your idea. no idea is original unless you keep it to yourself, but whats the fun in that?

Rather than steal the entire concept, just change up the wheels, or add a pinstripe, or something. If someone does create it before I do, they'll still lack what I'll have under the hood next year. :roll2:

sow hat if they do. people will do what they want when they want. you cant help that.

let people bite if they want. all that means is that they are a follower. thats thier problem. ok you want to shave your door handles, i shaved mine already, so what. your not biteing its you doing what you want to do.

but i encarage creativity and originality. come up with your own stuff and let people copy that. means you did something right and people whant that

lots of people have no originality and ultimately youre not he first to do any of this stuff. it can be argued that all of the mods you want to do are copies of someone else.

what it all comes down to is whether you like your car when its done. who cares how many ther are of it running round. chances are youll never see any cars that are copies of yours, and if you do just take it as a compliment.

you also cant go work if someone take s an existing idea and improves upon it either
