Hey guys, if you remember I used to have a Grandam for myself. I got rid of it due to problems and got a mustang.

Anyways we still have one Red 2003 Grandam SE in the family so I still browse these boards, very helpfull stuff here.

I found this new wax called turtlewax ICE and I waxed my mustang because its black and I wanted to see a crazy shine (Red is harder to shine)

Anyways I am posting this because this stuff is the best wax ever, and I really suggest you guys giving it a shot!

My Other half is in two of the pictures as well, she loves this stuff more then I do!

car looks good. but personaly i dont think that stuff is anything great. Its very easy to get new paint to shine. I still think Zanios is one of the best waxes you can buy.

The car looks good for sure, but I heard that this wax doesn't stay on the paint for too long.

Let me guess...V6 with an automatic. :tears2: :grrr:

Well, the paint looks great, none the less, and I always was fond of the torquethrust-type wheels :)

Yes its a 4.0 Litre, I am not sure if you know but the new 4.0's are more powerful and faster then the 2000 and previous GT's

I was at the track when I first got the car stock and I did 6.7 in the 0-60

Anyways NO its not an automatic, its a 5 speed Manual and now I have added a C&L Cold Air intake, Xcal II Tune, MRT Exhaust. I have also swapped out the gears for 3.73's and added a Ford racing Tlok (To change it to LSD)

My next step is to put on a Powerhouse Turbo running 9-10 PSI. By then I should be at 312 RWHP or so

Is that a aftermarket grill?

Erdrickk
06-23-2006, 07:01 AM
Nope its not aftermarket, but its not stock either...its the grill that comes with the "Pony Package"

That Package adds:

ABS
Traction Control
Upgraded Grill +Fogs
Rear Sway Bar
17" Pzero Nero's with Bullit Rims
Striping down the sides

I think thats about it...needless to say it was a $1200 upgrade..amazing deal. Thats why in the 2007 Pony Package they removed the ABS and Traction Control and made them a seperate upgrade. The 2006 was a steal

abs an option?? wow, i thought that was pretty well standard nowadays

Very cool upgrade package. I've seen those stripes before but not that grill. I like the bullet wheels too. Ever think about tinting the corner/side marker lights?

Erdrickk
06-25-2006, 08:21 AM
actually you are right on the mark with that suggestion...Alot of the Mustang Owners with a black car are tinting the side markers.

I have a feeling here in Alberta, Canada that it is illegal. Just like its illegal here to have any tint on the driver and passenger side windows...Thats why I dont have any tint on because to me, having the rears tinted and the fronts clear looks funny.

I had all my windows tinted on my 99 GAGT and got several tickets for it before I got rid of the car.

i dont like the ice... tried it... hate it..... didnt do anything at all mcguiers (sp) holds up way better, shines much better (not being a new car, you have to work to make it shine where your new paint is nice already) ice... ehhhhh... ill stick with my zanio...

Is it the owner on the 4 pic?

Erdrickk

The girl in the 4th picture is my G/F otherwise known as common law wife..lol

Anyways we both own the car. I am very happy with her because she loves it when I mod the car. Shes always up for more power or louder exhaust. She gets a kick out of it when we go in to a parking garage and set of car alarms with the MRT Exhaust mwhahaha
