whatcha think?
It has the volt meter down bottom, tranny temp in the middle, and oil pressure up top.
I made a quick how-to at my cardomain page on the oil pressure gauge (oil pressure sending unit removal), tranny temp gauge, and volt meter. It also has a lighting how to for the dimmer switch....

Id love to have a digital volt meter.. Is that pod brown? Or am I seeing things?

its almost the same tan/beige color as the original peice that was there... yes a digital would be nice, but i like watching needles move too... i had an oldsmobile that had the digital display for everything..... i like watching the needles move instead of havinga computer telling you stuff.... i just feel like im more in controll that way...
i know i sound nuts, but its me!
mine came with those on the stock gauge. But, if I had that car I would have those also, looks good.

I agree. Personally, I have a analog/needle (Autometer Ultra Lite) Trans. Temp gauge and a digital voltmeter in my pillar pod.
Brandon, I see your point about the analog looking nicer but with volts it's kinda crucial for many people to know exactly what voltage they are looking at, and instantly at that. I mean you don't really need to know if your trans temp is at 220F or 225F, it's like the same thing. And trans temp doesn't really change quickly.
However with volts you (well maybe not you personally but lots of people) really do need to know if their alternator is putting out 12.9 volts or 13.5 volts; and if it is dropping or not and how fast it's doing so. For that you need something with a decimal point display, IMO. Judging between 12.7, say, and 13.6 is not something not so easy to read (and read quickly) off the analog gauge.
It does look a little strange in my pod, because my Ultra Lite is silver and white faced with a orange/red needle whereas the voltmeter is all black with a shine-through red LED display for the voltage--the two gauges look completely different. I live with it though ;)

Get LED's in them and you will be REALLY happy.

actually thats my argument against digital gauges. with analog gauges you can see the needle move up and down, with digital gauges if the numbers change too fast then you cant read them at all.
everyone in my electrical engineering classes look at me wierd whenever i make this argument.
