Just how much power are you looking for in this sleeper. There are gona be alot of things you will have to look into. If you want lots of power your going to have to spend lots of money.

And after you get all that power your going to have to think transmissions. And how to make it handle the power.

There are lots of threads out there on this topic do a search and you will find all the information you need on making a fast GA.

And check out Milzy Motorsports, RSM, DPP, There are quite a few sites out there for the GA.

Good Luck

thinkin of going with the 4t65e trany (bonnaville)
posiablely a 3.8 or 3.9l motor

Your aware of the work required to bolt up the 4t65e to the 3400 right?

Your looking at some custom work like axles, mounts, pcm, ect. You might want to look into to getting Limited Slip aswell to put the power down.

Do some research see whats involved, your car is going to have a quite a bit of down time during the engine build and tranny swap you have to take this all into consideration when doing your build, take your time dont cut corners or you will be kicking yourself in the a$$ because of the results of shotty work.

since a 3800 isn't a direct swap and would require quite a bit of fab and modifying just to get in let alone performance mods...I'd use that money on a beefed up 5 speed (the one from a cavy fits) and a turbo or SC kit and get the 3400 up to 300 hp. That would make for a sleeper :D

i have read that turbo is the best between the two due to power gain and over heating

SC/T is a trim package and has nothing to do with the engine.

ok here is the run down between the two super charge is full time from 0 to ??? rpm over all gaine how ever varies due to the
fact the going number is a lose of 35 ho to turn the surpercharge.
Where turbo use exhust gases and kick in a t a set rpm point.
"over heating" is the down fall of supercharges
