Ok, I've been searching all weekend, and I'm burned out, so now I'm asking you guys for help.

Ever since I put an exhaust on my Prelude, I love how it looked (it wasn't a fart pipe, but a 2.25" cat back with dual 2.5" chrome tips), it really looked good for the car and had a good sound.

Here's how it looked:

Now that I have my GA, I'm getting tired of looking at the dual tips with no chrome, and just basically tired of having a stock exhaust. I want that look again, but for the GA. Simple, yet upgraded.

If I get a stock GT exhaust, it'll just look funny on the car with no exhaust cut-out on the right side bumper, without getting a GT rear bumper.

Basically, what I am saying is that I don't want a GT exhaust because I like where the exhaust is on the SE, and I don't want to have to be perfect and have a GT exhaust hanging out on the other side, without a GT bumper. It'll just look wrong to me. I just want that same look as the Prelude, single or dual tip doesn't matter.

I have been looking, and have been having problems finding axle-back exhausts, especially for the SE. I don't need the Borla, and the only thing worth thinking about is a site listing the SLP for $413, on sale cuz it's not made anymore. Tempting...

I thought about going custom, and I saw a bunch of you saying how you loved the Flowmaster 80 series. Now for those of you with a 80 series, is it only for the GT or can it be used on the SE as well? I looked at both, and decided that the 80 and the 40 series both have good sounds for me. I'm just not sure on fitment. I'm not sure placement of in pipe and out pipe on the muffler. Can someone just please find the correct muffler for me? I'm looking for 1 in/out pipe, cuz I don't want a dual exhaust.
I would then combine this with 2.25" tubing, and then put this tip in the end:

It's a Flowtech piece with a 2.25" inlet and dual 2.5" outlet tips. I'm assuming the inlet means I'll need to run 2.25" tubing before it for it to fit? If so, it's perfect and what I'm looking for.

What do you all think? Constructive criticism is welcome please :)

Thanks.

If your going for the single side exaust i like your pick. I personaly like slant cut tips. yes 2.25" all the way is what you will need and what i would recomend unless you plan on doing some engine upgrades or you will lose some bottom end.

For i simple look i think your going in the right direction. good choices. IMO

Yeah, I didn't wanna go any bigger than that. I know you only go about .5" bigger than a normal exhaust only if you're going forced induction.

In terms of the muffler, none I've looked at are 02+ GA SE specific, so I guess I'm gonna show three mufflers and I'll need everyone's help telling me which one is actually closest to a fit, taking in consideration the in/out holes on the muffler, as I don't know which. I've chosen the 40 series, cuz they seem best fit for a single exhaust.

The only one that fits a GA of all these is #942441 - but only til '96

Could I still use that one for me?

Edit: Sorry about the white shit, I dunno what happened.

I dont know what the SE muffler looks like so i cant really help you determen which to pick. But you can just jack up your car take a look and take some mesurements and make your decision upon that.
