Might be purchasing a few CCFLs from www.oznium.com and wondered if i run all 6(yes..6. two 12 in, and 4 4 inch) wired straight from the battery, would that be too much of a power draw considering i have a sub amp pulling power too?

oh, forgot to ask, How would i wire them so that they can only be turned on when my lights are on? A relay right?

Is that six sets or six tubes total, since they come two to a trans? They only pull 0.7amps per set so you'll probably be fine regardless. I know some of the people on the Oznium forum are up in the 10 to 15 set range. Just make sure you use a decent size power wire (probably 16 or 14AWG would be fine) and fuse them properly and you should be set.

And yes, a relay would be how you'd wire them to work when your lights are on. I assume that's to prevent you from leaving them on with the car off and killing your battery?

If you haven't already, be sure to breeze through the oznium.com forum (http://www.oznium.com/forum/), lots of good info there.

I believe there is a member over there named Josh who has around 15 sets, that's 30 cathodes under his truck used as an UB kit and he's had no trouble at all. If you have anymore specific questions, hop over to the forums, www.oznium.com/forums and post your question. Phil, the owner, will gladly help you out, and I'm sure any of the members would too.
