Anyone have the Astrostart remote start system on their GA? Got mine installed in NL 5 years ago when I bought the GA, and since living in the north on real bad roads, the unlock function seems to have shaken loose. The car still received the signal from the remote, cause the lights blink..... but the doors will not unlock. All other functions ie start, stop, lock, trunk, work fine. I'm guessing a wire loose somewhere on the car.
A mechanic once told me there are 2 boxes on my car, one in the windsheild to receive the signa from the remote, which is wired to another under the car to send signals to the specific functions on the car.... not sure if this is correct.
Anyone familiar with this system could you please shed some light as to where the main box is on the car, so I can check the wiring.
Also, how much for a Catalytic Converter, original, 2002 GA? Mine is rattling BAD, completly shook apart.
