hey.... im nw on this site, and i have a problem that one of you might have encountered before.... i left my parking lights on the other night, and the battery died.... so i boosted it, then... i was stupid and didnt take it for a drive to fully charge the battery up, i decided to clean the car instead, so i left the music on while i cleaned the car.... and the battery died again.... and after i boosted it the second time, the cd playr wouldnt work... there is a cd inside it, but it doesnt have the little cd logo that tells you that a cd is in there..... and when i hit the "cd" button... it just stays on the radio... i just bought this car a few weeks ago and its killing me that i already broke something.... please help!!!!

maybe a mod should move this to the audio section?? someone in there may have a better idea on this.

well good news and bad news. From past experiance souns like you didn jack up your cd player to bad. I sounds as though it mearly forgot ther was a cd in it and triped over to where it reads that non is in there. Thus the lack of a cd notifacation light and it not flicking over to cd when you push the cd button. bad news you are almost gurenteed to have to dismantle the thing to get the cd out and to get the thing up and going again.

A shot but a long shot is you maybe able to trick the cd palyer by feeding it another cd but not letting it load it all the way. just let it suck it in sum but pull it out before it takes it. This trik worked with my cd player when it forgot it had one in. Though it did kill both cds so remmember to try it with a blank or bad cd so you dont happen to mess up anything if it dose kill the cds.

well, ive tried a bunch of stuff, its ****ed, i think i killed it, looks like ill have to upgrade and get a 10" sub while im at it, lol
