I just had one of them one-way 'Compustar' alarms installed on my 2004 GA....It seems everything works fine, it's just @ different times when locking/unlocking with the remote, sometimes it'll chirp once, twice, or even three times randomly....For example, one time I'll lock it and she chirps once, next time three times....Same with unlock and vice-versa....No matter how many chirps though, the alarm IS armed and is working because I tryed it out....anyone know what the heck is going on?

RTFM. Different numbers of chirps usually indicate different things. For example, on mine:
1 = armed
2 = disarmed
3 = armed, but one or more sensors are not ready to be armed (e.g., open door) or are being ignored due to a problem
4 = disarmed, the alarm was triggered while you were away
:agree:
The manual should indicate what the number of chirps mean. Should be labelled as diagnostics or something, but it will be in the manual.

Actually, it's baffled me because it's nowhere to be found in the manual, OR the installation instructions....Called the place where I had it installed and the dude wasn't working....I was just seeing if I could find a quick answer by coming on here....Yeah, still seems like the alarm's working fine....Just those different numbers of beeps each time....Blows my mind.
