View Full Version : What do I use?

Today I was driving home, had my stereo turned up and my rear view mirror fell off. What do I use to put it back on the windshield? Do they make a certain adhesive to use or what? Not trying to brag about my stereo either just a serious question so I can get it put back up.

That's happened to me before. There is a special rearveiw mirror kit that you can buy for $6 or so that comes with a cleaner and adhesive. :)

Can I just get it at like Autozone or Wal-Mart?

Yes, it's usually in the isle with the "Help!" products. Any Autozone, Pep Boys or similar auto parts store will stock it.

(Technical side note... actually it isn't a cleaner - the little brush/tube is a chemical "activator" for the glue.)
