Sadly I traded the grand am today for a 2006 GMC Sierra. It has 30 miles on it and I love it. No way would I have thought, I would be buying a brand new vehicle of the show room floor, at 21 yrs old. Its a $30,000 truck and I got it for $20,000 with trade in and rebates. I will miss the grand am but trucks are much better up here in the winters.

no I had a couple ppl look at the rebuilt one and everyone said no. This one is off the show room floor. lol I never thought about the air freshner and the new truck smell. I just took it out of the car and hung it up. I suppose I could take it out.

congrats! looks like an awesome truck... definately what I'd want to drive if I lived in Alaska. heck, I wouldn't mind having one of those for Michigan winters :P

Leann, I think you can buy "new car smell" air fresheners :D

Yeah Im adding stuff to it. window tint, nerf bars, spray in bedliner, exhaust, bug shield, window visors, 3rd brake light cover, autostart, carbon fiber tails, clear corners. I dont know anything about changing stuff under the hood, suspension etc. That doesnt need any changing anyway though.

Nice truck!

And for the hanging wire, I'd say that it's the engine block heater.

you could get the air intake kit for it made by K&N or there are some other makers too. When you do exhaust are you doing from cat back or engine back? My boss has engine back on his truck. Headers, high flow cat etc etc. I like your ideas though and keep us posted on it ;)
