my subs facing the back seat

i plan on puttin a neon on each side and finishing the drill holes. i want to cut a few metal plates and sort of surround the wiring so it looks a little more finished.

tell me what you think

3 hifonics? That's close to 3000 watts right? Any electrical upgrades? Haven't really settled on if I like it or not but iI bet it's loud

Looks good....but you need to seal off the box from the trunk better.
Needs to be as airtight as you can get it. You'll be amazed by how much better it'll sound.

yup^

It'll make a world of difference.

Basically....you dont want sound waves to get behind the box when you have it facing forward like you have it.

And yeah...you're gonna need more electrical upgrades than that...especially when running high draw hifonics amps.

Those Titan Series amps are class A/B, so their maximum possible efficiency is 66%. Most don't achieve that kind of efficiency.

This means that they need to take in ALOT of power to create those 3000watts of music power, probably close to 6000 watts.

To support this, you should do The Big Three (the12volt.com) and make sure the power wiring you have going to the trunk is 1/0 guage. A beefed up alternator would also be a good idea. Make sure that you have rubber grommets in any place where the wire goes through a metal hole.

actually the two monoblocks are class D and the 4 channel is a/b.....

Hifonics still draw alot compared to other brands....even their class D. You might need two bateries and a bigger alt. for your set-up. I'll tell you right now a stock alt. aint gonna last long.

thats exactly what I was going to say. Cancellation sucks and sounds like crap. Seal that trunk off from the cabin and you should be wangin!
Props on the amp rack.

I know mine still hits real hard with the seats up, and the subs pointed into the trunk. I guess opinions vary, and because I have no plans on competition, I am not real concerned with squeezing every little decibal out of it.

i was thinking about buying some 3/4 mdf making a whole wall insted of messing around trying to just fill in around it... should i take my subs from my old box out and cut the slot and holes in the new board and then screw the mdf to the existing box and screw the subs into the new 3/4. or should i take the subs out and cut the front 3/4 off the box and then screw the remaing box to the wall so it has like a new front and then mount my subs on that?

and when i make the wall should i take out the plastic around the top of the seats? that stuff thats held in by those retainging clips and fit around the fold down hitches.
