Amp wiring

Once you guys get your wire through the firewall, where do you normally run it to get back to the trunk? Do you take the trim off that is right by the door, and run it under, or what? It was really simple on my 92, I am just trying to get some ideas for the 04.

Ive got a 98, but thats where mine is run, power wire down the drivers side, and the audio wiring down the pass. side of the car to the trunk, both under the lower trim piece that holds the carpet in place.

How does this piece come off? I don't see any screws and I hate breaking clips when theres a trick to removing things like this.

lift them up if there are no screws.

Ya the trim just's lifts right up and pops right back in. You might have to adjust the power wire a little bit because its usually pretty big and needs to be positioned so the clips from the trim can go back in.

On my 02 after you get the panel up, if you look under the carpets edge, there are some body braces every 18 inches or so, I ran 4 guage all the way to my trunk, it slid right under the braces, and not too tigh as to cut the power wire, ran rca cables and speaker wire down opposite side, not bad at all after you get started.........good luck.
