Ok, so i went to hard wire in my foglights and i ran the ground wires together, then grounded them on the body and proceeded to run the wire to the toggle inside the car (connected it to toggle as ground). Next i ran the power wires inside to the toggle switch and connected it as power. Then i took a wire and ran it from the CD player 12volt wires and connected the wire to the ACC on the toggle switch. It turned on the fogs and when i turned them off it blew the interior light fuse. I replaced the fuse and now my CD player won't turn on and the door "ding" won't go off, so in order to stop i have to pull the fuse. Please help me with any info. on what might be wrong! Thanx! Here's a diagram of the wiring.

in order to give you a better answer i would need to see the actual wiring diagrams, but i give it a shot........ first off the fog lts are most likely drawing more amps than the radio wire is capable off handleing. when wireing in fog lights you should wire them to the existing fog lights or head lights. since you wired the fog lights in to the radio wire it may have fried your radio or blew the in line fuse for the radio. but my guess is that you fried something because if the radio and the door dinger has power that means that no fuses are blown. the over draw of amps by the fog lights is very bad and because the power was coming from the radio it probly fried it. i would hook the fogs into the head lights.

if you can post pics of the wiring diagrams ill help you find what might be fried. if you have any more questions let me know.

Where's your relay buddy??

That's the worst wiring idea I've ever seen I think1. Instead of yellin at ya how about some help.

Looks like you have one of those lighted switches. Go get yourself a standard 4/5 pin 30amp automotive relay.

Ground the lead that says ground on the switch.
Put a switched ignition source, not an accessory lead, on the lead that is probably marked "power" or "12v"

Send the "acc" lead or the third pin of your switch to a relay mounted in your engine bay. The relay connections are:
85 - going to your switch
86 - to ground
87 - to the battery, with an inline fuse!!!!!!
30 - to the +12v leads to your fogs.

Give your fogs a good ground- Screw them to the body of the car. Don't tap in anything else.

Man, i hope my radio isn't fried! How would i wire into the headlights? Do i wire them into the high or low beams and what wires do i splice into? Thanx for the replies so far.

yea thats a good thing! well the fuse isnt blown that also could be bad. does the radio come on at all( clock or display)??? if not trace back and see where the power for the radio comes from and check everything on the way( relays, fuses ect.). if everything is fine then your radio may be fried.
do you have fog lights already on your car???
if not i would wire them into the head lights. this has to be done correctly or else your fog lights will come on with your headlight switch.
1) find the wire that takes the power to the head light switch and splice into it. run the second wire to your fog light switch. the run the acc out wire to your fog lights. the key is to find a good ground!!!

this is just one way of doing it. and theres probly a better way but this is an easy way and it will work and not fry anything.

this is just off the top of my head. with the wiring diagrams you may beable to find a better way.

It's the stock fog lights that i'm trying to wire in because the stock wiring didn't work. Any ways, so i would splice into the blue wire (power) and run that to the ACC on the switch then run the ground to the frame, but what else do i attach to the toggle switch? Thanx!

So would that be a whole new switch? Also do you mean on of those gray square relays and where do the wires go from the fog lights? Thanx!
