I searched and came up with nothing so...
Took the GA in for an alignment since I replaced a bent trailing arm on the pass. side rear since I noticed it was bent when replacing the fuel level sending unit (damage is from previous owner that was never fixed).
At the shop first the mechanics and the both the mechanics & I tried to correct the toe in using the eccentric bolt made for this purpose on the rear crossmember/frame with no luck.
Optimum rear toe in according to the Haynes manual is: 0.06 degrees with a tolerance from -0.26 to 0.14 deg.
Current toe in is +2.06 deg. and even using the eccentric bolt we can't get it within tolerance, or even close.
The bolt is not bent & the hole is not enlarged. It is so obvious you can see it with the naked eye when standing at the rear pass. side looking down the side of the car !!
What other bolts/methods/etc. can be used to adjust the rear toe in? or is this another "non-adjustable" suspension that GM created?
