ok i wanted to get the better looking rim for my 99 grand am. i hate the wheel gap i have so i wanted to go for the bigger rim and maybe lower the car after that. but i heard the bigger the rougher the ride.
im goin to get the Big Tigger shift Chrome wheel with the RED insets instead of black, to match my ride. i think itll look pretty sweet
so which one should i choose 18" or 19"???

If you plus size the wheels correctly the overall diameter is gonna be around the same as stock , so the wheelwell gap isn't going to change much at all . You'll need to get lowering springs to do that ...

im gonna lower it but i rather get more than just springs when i do the suspension. will the 18 or 19 be better for the car. is te 19" gonna rob the car of the handling integrity

19's are going to be a rough ride...18's won't be the smoothest, but your brain won't be mush.
18's with springs and larger sway bars would be the best combo....and of course good tires!!!!!!
19" wheels are heavier (which hurts both acceleration and braking, plus puts more strain on your suspension), tires cost more, and there's less rubber so you're more likely to bend the wheels on potholes, and they generally ride rougher. From an aethestics point of view, your car will look goofy with itty-bitty brakes cowering behind those huge wheels, and it'll look like it's on stilts because of the huge wheels and the stock wheel gap.

Alright damnit, 18 inches it is on the GAGT. Tons more options with eighteens anyway.
