That's strange... PFYC just had them not but a couple weeks ago.. :slant: I did a quick search and didn't come up with anything other than Forum results for a slew of different forums :idunno:

Maybe someone else will have some input.. Just out of curiousity.. What's wrong with the Hellas?

Hellas on PFYC and the Blazertech 3300 are long range driving lights for use off road or on no-traffic situations. The Blazertech 2200 that PFYC had was better for general use because it helped illuminate around the car as well as in front.

Blazertech WAS a re-badged driving light very similar to many other brands. As far as I can tell Blazertech no longer exists because the products have been slowly disapearing from store shelves in my area. Autozone said they are no longer available, but had no details. I have no idea what's happened, but they are scarce at this moment.

Has anyone written to PFYC about it?

I wonder what these would be like? http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/tf-VehicleBrowse/s-10101/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2003742/p-2003742/N-111+2003+200729111+600002817/c-10101

I've also searched blazertechs and only found peole asking about them, or if they fit their car etc.

I dont want the Hellas, because it's my moms car. She doesn't need any flashy BS stuff. I just want better foglights/driving lights on her car, cause I wont lie, the GA doesn't have the best stock equipment in that department.

So the 3200's are driving lights and the 2200's are fog lights? Anyone have the 2200's? How do they perform?

if you can't find the blazertechs, you can still get the hella's and not hook up the angel eye part. Still have better output than even the high beams.

edit: plus, they're goin for $35 right now at pepboys

Since you're in Ajax, just go to a Canadian Tire and look in their aftermarket catalogue. I think I have seen them in there.

I just have the hella's so I'm not sure how the 2200 are...But like Rick said, you can just wire them up so that you don't have to use the angel eyes. Maybe your mom will like them anyways. :P

EDIT: check this link out for the Hella's lighting http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35404

When I e-mailed theme back in june they said (The Blazertech 3200s were discontinued by the manufacturer. We do still
have the 2200s and the Hella Angel Eyes.)

Well I've asked all the source I have and it looks like the entire Blazertech line has been discontinued. their parent company has stopped consumer level production as far as I can tell because no other brand name was given to anyone connected.

Secondly, at the risk of sounding like a broken record this is a fog light pattern http://www.spmotorsports.com/img/beam2b.jpg You'll notice that it is shorter but it spreads out. I prefer that because it works in places where the headlights don't.

This is a driving lighthttp://www.spmotorsports.com/img/beam3b.jpg You'll se that it overlaps the headlight pattern.

Ask your mother where her vision is limited. Does she drive on dark roads and need light on the corners or does she need more distance vision.

I know the fog/driving light thing. I have fogs on my car with 55w bulbs (cause I dind't bother to open them and change the bulb) and they're pretty good. Much better than stock

Ideally, I'd like them to combine both fog ANd driving, but lets get serious here. I know they're available, but I've yet to see one that will fit the stock location.

I"ll go check out CT and Partscource etc. to see what they have.

edit: By the way. For those with 2200's or 3200's or Hellas or wahtever. Did you use the stock wiring, or did you have to upgrade the wiring also? I'm hoping to use the stock wiring if it will handle it, for ease of install, and using the stock fog switch.

new wiring came with the 2200's, and there's a splice into your old wiring if you want to use the stock switch (the splice is only a remote wire, so its not going to draw enough through the stock wires to burn them out).

Wow, its been a while since I posted here ...

but I just got a pair of Blazertech 3200's off ebay for like $30 shipped. Search for Blazertech or 3200 on ebay and you should find a couple.

I would definitely use the wiring that comes with the lights. The stock fog light wiring isn't made to handle the 55W output of the aftermarket lights. You may not have any problems but then again you could end up having a fire.

For sure. Wasn't quite sure how well the wiring was. If I go that route then maybe I'll do that. Especially if I go with higher wattage bulbs

I must be searching ebay at the wrong times. Whenever I search, there are no results:lol:

Blazertechs may become hard to now if all the sources have dried up. As of right now there is ONLY ONE listed, so it isn't just you. It's the 2200 Fog System http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Blazertech-fog-light-system_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33709QQihZ013QQi temZ230010771017QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

ok, so I spent some time looking for it, but can't find the link... I think it was a link from PFYC.com under installation for the 2200 blazer's, but apparently they don't sell these anymore and I couldn't find the link. If I remember correctly, the how-to was on grandamgt.com, so you might want to go over there and search around.

Was it this link?

I got them in the mail today. Even sending them as a gift, and by USPS, it was still another 16 bucks when it got here:mad:

edit: I think this might be the best install instructinois?
