My car is leaking coolant right past the engine and trans pan. before the first big exhaust pipe. It is coming out every time i move the car. more towards the pass side of the car. Car is not overheating and my low coolant light has not come on.
LIM was replaced not too long ago. new t-stat
Car was towed 2 times yesterday for another problem, if that would make any difference
PLEASE help!

A water leak on the ground at that location is one of four things:
1. Perfectly normal condensation from the AC evaporator (inside the fan blower box, with the heater core). There's a drip pan to catch the condensation, and a black rubber tube to direct it onto the ground below the passenger's feet.
This is pure water, with no antifreeze or odor.
2. Broken heater core, which leaks coolant into the same pan; you get a strong whiff of antifreeze in the cabin when this happens.
2 hours + $80 heater core.
3. The heater hoses, just before they enter the heater core, may be damaged. They would leak coolant in this area.
No odor in the cabin, but strong odor and appearance of antifreeze in the puddle.
2 hours + ~$30 for hoses.
4. Blown head gasket.
When the LIM gasket failed and was leaking, you might have had an overheating episode that damaged (warped or cracked) the rear cylinder head.
This would reduce the 'clamping force' of the head bolts, and allow the gasket to leak coolant to the outside.
Again, no odor in the cabin, but strong odor and appearance of antifreeze in the puddle.
$1200 - $1800, depending on damage to heads.
Hope this helps.
