I was just curious to know if anybody on here knows how to change out the Monsoon speakers (6x9 & 4x6) out of a 2001 Grand Am GT? My dad installs all my stuff in my car and he said that the Monsoon speakers have like three wires coming off of them or somethin like that. Also, I have an ANNOYING pop with my aftermarket Alpine CD player. Any suggestions? I really don't want to have to take it to a car audio place and pay up the a** for them to install. Thanks!

The rear speakers are really easy. Take the trim off from around the rear window, then fold the rear seats down and take that piece of trim out from the opening to the trunk. Then the deck just pulls out, and you can unclip the speaker and it's wire. I don't know about the front speakers though. Hope that makes sense.

yes come out 4 wires you have to use only two, those are the only ones that work wiht new speakers, i never fund a harness for that connection, looked in circuit city, bestbuy and sound outlets
