BDS = Big Dollars Spent, but you don't hear many complaints about the kits

what kind of gas mileage did you get? any power mods?

I'm looking into getting a ZR2

It got about 12 miles to gallon didn't matter if it was in the city or hihgway. I had an exhaust on it but thats about it I was always fixing stuff on it like balljoints(seemed like every 8,000-10,000 miles) tie rodsand so on it only had 40,000 miles on it when I sold it but they were some hard miles. I used to take it to Silver Lake all the time and mudding around the house.

How is that possible to only get 12 mpg?
I have a GMC Z71 1500 and get much better than that.

oh it got that bad of gas mileage because the little 4.3 just doesn't have enough power to turn the 33in tires. well that plus I never changed the gearing. Is your GMC stock though when the Blazer was stock it got close to 20mpg the lift and tires really killed that

Its got a 3" block in the rear and the TB's are cranked all the way and 33" BFG AT's like yours.
I didnt do any of it though, the original owner did, i bought it that way. The only mods i did to it was cut the crappy flowmasters off and ran straight pipes that are bent at 90degree angles out the sides. 350 with no muffs and true duals is loud as phock.

Actually im getting headers and taking out the cats. The headers alone will quiet it down a bit though.
