I am trying to get some wheels and tires for Albany. I found some I like, and if they can get here on time I may order them. I am just looking for opinions as far as looks go. Also if it is a good deal.
Here are the wheels...

These wheels are 17x7.5 and come with Nexen N (?) tires. All for $772.21 after shipping.
Heres an idea what they would look like...

I think they look sick, I love the look of a polished lip, similar wheels to what I'm looking at, I just can't make up my mind about whether to go with 17's or 18's...

But have you ever heard of a brand called Quantum tek? They make the wheels, and what about the Nexen tires?

Heard of Quantum Tek, not sure if that means anything though, as for the tires no I haven't heard of them but I'm no tire buff

I just called them and they couldn't get the wheels here in time for Albany anyway. Oh well.

They have em in 18's, but are about $100 more. When I had my 95 GA I had 17" on them, and over the course of time I went through a full set of wheels by either bending them or tires generating a bubble. So if I go any smaller, I am afraid that it will happen again but even more often.

I have Quantum Tek wheels in 17 inches. They are the S10s and i got them from GrandAmChick. Quality is fine, they look good and because of the size they still ride fine. You may need hub rings because most QT wheels are 114.3x5 instead of 115x5 bolt patterns. I haven't purchased my rings yet and I think that may be what causes the vibration in the steering column at high (65mph+) speeds. That or the uneven wear on the tires.(previous owner's camber was bad)
As far as the tires go, if i remember correctly they are a Japanese tire company that uses relatively soft rubber, so they wear somewhat quickly. Kinda like cheap Hankooks and Nankangs.
