Hey guys before my Grand Am I was really big into Probes I have two sets of rims for my old car. The pattern is 5x115m I know the GA is 5x114.3m. I want to get by for now with the rims I have until I can afford the TSWs I am looking at is .7m a huge difference? I am guessing I will need wheel adaptors but I don't want them to stick out any ideas?

From what I know, 5x115mm and it's Imperial equivalent (5x114.3mm) wheels are usually cross-compatible and will bolt up to either lug pattern without too much trouble.

I "think" you need adapters.. search around a little on here. As I recall this topic has been covered more than a few times, but since I'm not 100% certain on my answer I'll direct you that way. I do know for fact though, thatpeople have put 5x114.3mm on their 99+ GAs before.

^ :agree: ...unless you don't mind having your wheels out of balance (and probably not as safe, either)
at least a few people on here have 5x114.3 with hubcentric rings, and they say they work fine.

Yea, without the hub rings they may not be the best idea, but with a good set of hub rings, they should work perfectly fine.

I did that on my 99 with some 18" Motegi ff7's and they work fine. I've had 'em on for almost 6,000 miles now with no problems. I've been contemplating getting new wheels that actually fit correctly now that i'm an assistant manager at discount tire. :-)
