I just want to make sure I am correct before I go purchase rims for my SE.
I am going from: 215 60R15
To a 18" wheel. I would like it to look fairly low profile and have little affect on speed.
What size should I be looking for, i tried the calculator but it succeeded in confusing me...

It appears about a 235 40R18 should be about right!
correct me if i am wrong...
Will this give me a low profile look to it...I am sorrry I am a tire noob.
Also, what tires are decent, I am looking at some NEXEN S3000's and some BFG g-force t/a's.

actually get 225/40/r18s if you can, as theyre a closer match to your current tire diameter, and arent as wide as the 235s. I cant recall for sure, but youre more likely to have issues with rubbing with the 235's.

You can run a 35 series sidewall as well, it'll throw ure speedo off like 3mph (but who the hell pays attention to those things anyway?)
