I'm looking to replace my 15" steelies with a 16" package that I'll keep on the car year round. There is a fair amount of snow in the winter so I'll need an all season setup. Although, I havent ruled out the chrometechs, I'd rather go after market.
I'd go 17", but I'm not sure how they'd handle the snow. Thanks in advance everyone.

Aftermarket wheels aren't recommended in the winter. If you should slide into a curb or what-not it's a lot less of a deal to bang up a set of cheapy stock rims than it is a nice set of aftermarkets.
For tires, I'd recommend the Potenza G009 all-seasons. Not too expensive, great tread life, excellent ride quality, low noise, and GREAT grip on everything save for glare ice. I've had mine for 8 months now, and I still love them.

Yeah I would second the no aftermarkets for winter. If you are up to spending a little extra you can get steelies with some nice X-Ices for winter and then you can specialize your summer setup. Thats what I could consider doing, as I have set of X-Ices (very good snow tire btw, I like them alot) and then I have my OEM rims with 225/50/16 BFG Traction T/As (all season, which I like too) for summer. '
Wider all season tires in winter isnt necessarily good. I had one winter with 225/50/16 Eagle LS on and it was hell. Reason being as wider = more contact on ice = more sliding. I know it works because I snowboard, and my old freeride board for going fast was wide, whereas my freestyle board was narrower for turning and such.
