Is there any store that actually keeps the black headlight covers in stock? I see that the autozone says you can order them in the sotre.... call me old-fashioned, but I like to walk into a store, grab something, pay for it, and leave. :P
I was just wondering if anyone got theirs at any stores that I could look into... I was thinking about buying a pair tomorrow, but I'm too impatient to order them.

I don't think anyone carries them, but it only takes like 3 days to get.. Patience, Grasshopper :P

I got mine in the For Sale section for cheap, if you have patience then you can save some money...

I have a set of them but I do not use them when driving at night. They clip on and off vary easily but it reduces light output greatly; even with HID's. I just use them at car shows.

I had Autozone order them after all. They said that it should be here in a couple days, so that's fair enough.
I'm not really into ordering online unless I have to. You have to pay the shipping fees, sometimes things get lost in transit, the delivery guys always seem to not be able to find my house, even though my dad orders stuff every week... It's too much of a pain, and things always end up costing more, escpecially if you want them fast.

By the way... what, if any, is the difference between the GTS and Auto Ventshade covers?

Wow, they already came today. That wasn't too bad.
I got the Auto Ventshade ones... they look great, but the passenger side one seems like it comes just sort of covering the very top of the light. Might be able to work it in there better or something... kinda in a hrry because I have to go to work soon.
Anyone have trouble getting pulled over for having these on? I'll probably take them off at night, since they're pretty easy to get on and off. We'll see how it goes.

I leave mine on all the time. I've never been pulled over because of it. If I had to put them off and on...I would have tossed them a long time ago.
PS. The damn things never seem to fit right. Only noticeable at night though.

Meh, I'll just leave them on for a bit and see if I draw any attention from local law enforcement.
I'm not really too concerned about light output, because I still have fog lights, and 99% of the time if I'm driving at night it's in the city where there's street lights and stuff anyways.
I guess it's probably one of those things that if a cops bored enough, he could hassle you about it.

I had them on my 94 Grand Am for over a year and had no troubles with the cops. But somebody stole mine off the car while it was parked outside my apartment. So if your car is not garaged over night, I'd consider taking them out at nights...

My car is parked literally inches from my front window all night, and I'm usually up until sunrise.... so I should be cool :P
The light output is pretty low... if I wasn't driving in the city at night I'd definitely take them off.... though looking at them on from the outside... you can hardly tell there's anything there.

I tried peeling it off today, but it seemed more like it was painted or stamped on or something. I was able to sratch it a bit, but it wasn't peeling. Just trying to figure out a way to get it off without scratching up the surface of the cover itself.
Too bad it didn't say ATS, that's my initials. Maybe I'll just scratch off the V :P
