View Full Version : Hotel conference room? Beer pong?

A few questions about the hotel setup... no big deal if they cannot be answered yet.

1. Is the hotel giving us the conference room at all for beer pong-age? (like last year)

2. I know we reserved a "block" of rooms for the meet. Will they actually be near each other? Or scattered all over like last year?

Matt, the room is ours as long as they havent booked it since I asked a few months ago.

As for the blockage of rooms, let me get back to you on that. I requested it, not sure if they were able to do it.

Thanks Leanne.

Don't worry about finding out now... was just trying to determine if there was going to be someplace indoors we could play pong (without causing ruckus with the other hotel guests). I was debating bringing some stuff to enhance the event... since it appears we will have a place (conf room or one of our rooms), think I will.

Now... does anyone happen to know if the outlets are 15 or 20 amp circuits?

I would think that most of the outlets that are out in the open would be 20 amp. They might have 15 amp circuits in the rooms for the lighting. Prolly 20 amp in the bathrooms to handle steam irons and hair dryers.

To maintain the element of surprise, I'm gonna go with "no."

:bunny:

See that bunny? I bet nobody expected that either. Yet it has nothing to do with this thread. That's really something, eh?

I forgot about the bathrooms. Nevermind then... cause that means 15 or 20 doesn't matter... the bathrooms will have a separate circuit for the GFCI outlet. A single 20 amp or 2 15 amp circuits... either is adequate for my power needs. ;)

I'd like to be near Kelly and Shawn's room so I don't have to walk far to bang on the door at 5am

Nah, simply using the back seat for passengers makes the car cramped. And I don't need sleeping gear like I did last year for the floor.

And if you do happen to know what I'm doing, shhh... don't give it away.
