Hey Everyone,

This year we are changing things up a bit as far as parking and judging at the meet. We have the a lot of trophies being handed out and to make it easier on the judges we would like all the participants to see a member of the ClubECM “staff” for your dash card, the dash card will have your number and we will have your number, name & vehicle. In the past there has always been confusion as to whose car is whose and makes awarding these proud vehicle owners difficult. So this year we are eliminating that by having you all register (won’t cost you anything, if you registered online) with an ECM member.

I will be around from Wednesday so see me to get your card.

Now, here are the classes that we have, please let me know which class you would like to be judged in. Please keep in mind that you will be parked with other vehicle in your class.

The 3 classes we have are: Stock, SemiModified and Modified. Look at your list of modifications and classify yourself appropriately.

here are the guidelines for the 3 classes in case you guys arent sure...

Stock - Stock appearing exterior and interior. Mild bolt ons and modifications acceptable. Examples of acceptable modifications are cleared factory lights, GT wheels on a SE, GT exhaust on a SE, strutbar, mild interior or engine painting, badge overlays/decals, gutter gaurd, etc.

Semi Modified - Aftermarket wheels, lights, exhaust systems, aftermarket seats, interior modifications, custom stereo systems/electronics, spoilers, hoods, lowered suspensions, and excessive bolt on items.

Modified - Aftermarket wheels, hoods, bodykits, lights, custom body work, custom paint, custom interior, graphics, altered suspensions, engine/tranny swaps or large power adders (Nitrous, Supercharger or Turbocharger), or any major custom modifications.

If you are unsure of what class your vehicle should be in ask a ClubECM "Event Staff" member for help.

Also ClubECM reserves the right to change which class you are in if we feel you are not in the one best suited for your vehicle.

Stock - allowable alterations in stock class are seat belts and related safety equipment, gauges, after market wheels and tires (as long as they remain close to a stock theme). Replacement exhaust systems are permitted provided the system contains no cut outs, headers, or side pipes.

Semi-modified – Excessive chrome, sound systems, non-stock appearing upholstery changes, Strut bars, non-factory intake or exhaust manifolds, or headers.

Modified entries – Incorrect appearing engine and/or transmission for model, year. Major suspension changes, major body changes (hood scoops, fender flares, ground effects, etc.) Non-factory style paint work, or major upholstery changes.

Chris....for a different meet i entered my car as stock and it was stock besides the tint and intake. i got 2nd place :) it won't hurt to enter

I think you could pass for stock according to the rules we have listed yeah. The only questionable thing is your hood.....

Well your car will be in the stock class and if you think about it there wont be much differance between the cars cause there all Stock grand ams, I would just suggest cleaning your car as best as possible and you could very well win somthing.....

If anyone needs clarification as to what class your car should be judged in let us know.

If you want to PM me a link to your car or send me a list of modifications I can let you know where you belong a head of time to reduce confusion at the park.

honstly...... are the cars going to be parked anyware or in their classes. if you class is on you dash card then cars can park anyware right??? or is that to confusing for judging?

Parking will be by class. Most likely the modified and semi modified will be on one side of the lot and the stocks will be on the other.

Being that there isnt a parking fee this year we should be able to move in smooth.
