Well after owning the car all of two weeks I put my first two mods on today! The intake is the Ebay special (BOMZ racing) not bad I guess but just temporary. Notice how it is right up against the pos. terminal on the battery is anybody elses like this? Sorry if the engine bay looks dirty to some of you but you should have seen it when I bought it (lots of dirt roads) this is it after a couple hours of cleaning.

nah, your engine bay looks fine as far as cleanliness. Even that cheap ebay intake is better than the stock one. :) I dont like that filter though:( with that hole on the end of it, unfiltered air can get right in there a little bit.
The fact that it touches the pos. terminal isn't bad as long as that cap stays on over top of the metal bolt.
Overall, it looks good, and I'm not sure Ive seen anyone post a brakelight overlay that says twin cam on it :)

The filter is still filtered inside that hole. I was hoping the Twin Cam was original thanks!
As far as full pics here you go

Ok, as long as its set up so that nothing unfiltered can get in:) most filters i see without an endcap like that let air in like that

my positive terminal cap also touches my AEM intake, if the car has over 50k i'd keep an eye on the water pump.

Its good to have one of those caps on your POS terminal...i dont so i have to be careful. but it looks good. With that filter you have most of the air that is going to be sucked in is though the hole in the top. See how mine is..covered with the filter? that means ALL the air that touches it will be filtered. I would get rid of that one, sell it and get a K&N oiled filter...im sure you will get better results. but that is my two cents :)

Hey, Would I be able to use this on my 3.1L 98' gt? And would it even be any better than stock?

Use what? a WAI? like what we have? Yes they make them for the 3x00s...you can even get a CAI for it easy, just use ebay or make your own. 3.1 is easier to find a CAI for.
