Just put the chrome overlay on my front logo today. I think it matches over all a lot better.

Kinda hard to see due to the nature of the "chrome" but you get the idea.

Opinions welcome.

Subtle. But it's a noticeable improvement. One thing I can't stand about the front of a GA is the red arrow. Looks great.

"click me" (http://www.grafxwerks.com/products/detail.php?pid=GASE5-1001)

You can get any color with any color border

Yeah everything I get for decals is from grafxwerks.com

They're definitely the best. I just can't decide if I should keep it chrome like that or get the "Pewter" color that is about one shade lighter than my car like I got for my 3rd brake light overlay...

the chrome looks good on your car, though.

My red arrow had to go when it turned pink. So I went with a black overlay. The chrome looks good by the way.

Chrome actually doesn't look bad. I like the way it turned out. Good job!

When you change the color do you need to remove the old one or just stick the new one on top?

My car is bright red and it makes my Pontiac emblem look odd because the shade is a bit to the purple/pink side compared to the rest of the car. I'm thinking of getting a bright red overlay to match the paint. I like the subtle look, but not boring so maybe a black border.

Then it would be the factory chrome with a black inner border on the overlay, bright red arrow, and the chrome thing in the middle. What would that look like on a bright red car?

It's just a decal, so you would just stick it over the existing arrowhead. I could be wrong, but I always thought the "border" on the decal would cover the factory chrome part you're speaking of... maybe someone else could say for sure.

I have another question, though...

I'm considering ordering one of the cheap Ebay bumpers because mine has a bad crack in the center post. I'm thinking that if I do, I'll just throw an arrowhead decal on it since it dosen't have the space for the actual arrowhead emblem.... is the little star part in the middle of the arrowhead part of the decal, or do the overlays actually just have that cut out so that part shows through on the emblem?

Edit; looking at the site again answers all my questions... it is an inner border, and the star is cut out... damn...

I may have a solution for you Aaron. Ryan at grafxwerks is making a liquidome arrowhead of the factory size for 14 a peice. That would work well or you could just get a flat one. Email him and ask, but I know he can do an arrowhead for you.

I'm getting mine for the lower quarter panel on the GT kit.

As for my question, I'm not sure if the border is bigger or not so would it cover the chrome?
