I'd leave the wheels and tires alone. They look good and we don't all want the rubber band look that is the current fad. If you do change them I wouldn't put anything bigger than 18s, preferably 17s. If you are concerned about the fender gap then you should instead lower the car.
The first thing I would do would be to purchase some grill work for the the front. Some is better than others on how it goes on but I'm not sure what's good, others will have to help you there.
I see you don't have a pinstripe. Are you going to add one? Can the shop paint one on? I've always been curious why people don't do that. I was told once that it would make a micron thicker line that would compromise the clear coat, but I don't buy that.

Damn that's a hot freakin ride. Need to get a digital camera so we can see it in it's greatness minus extra blurry..

thanks for the comments and suggestions. i have since that pic lowererd the car and installed a flowmaster super 40 dual exhaust system. i have been thinking about adding custom airbrushing to make it appear that the paint is ripping off of the front of the car.defiately interested in a billet grill set but i'm more extreme than modest so i haven't found a good looking set yet....i've got to try to get my film developed tommorrow for some dirty pics(not been washed for a few days) so i can share with you guys(and girls)

Hey .. i love the color. Not many blue GTs around. I did the same thing when i bought wheels for my car. Living up in the north with the freezing and thawing the streets are terrible for pot holes .. i wanted to make sure i had some rubber between the tread and the rim... i've seen to many friends get there wheels broke for driving over a pot hole. Anyway .. thought i would share my pic.

looks sweet, I'd say you should get the chrome headlights that coupe has, I think they'd look really good with your color, that stupid orange piece is so ugly :( can't wait to see the update

that's only the second blue 99+ GT I've seen... it must have been a SE from the factory, since it has the silver window molding, its in a not-offered color for GTs (as far as I know), and it has the 4-banger in it.
I really like it :thumbup2: Do you know what all was done with the engine? Your profile says supercharged, but did they change any internals? And what boost is it running?
Yea, I don't really like the wheels much... But if you check out the for sale section on here and grandamgt.com, you'd be able to find some good used ones for a reasonable price.
Any plans for the future?

As I mentioned in the other thread...Very nice conversion.
Now...Put a black overlay on that chrome trim, swap out the tails and you're good to go.
PS. I have no problem with stock wheel sizes. After all...I'm rollin' on mini dubs myself.

Very nice car! GT conversion was done very well, too. On mine the chrome trim around the windows doesn't stand out so bad because its silver, but you can really notice it on yours. I like it!

Like everyone has said, Props on the Color. Looks good, Nice and clean.
As for the rims, Not a huge fan of multi-spoke. But I agree with Marshall you dont have to run 19's with a condom wrapped on it. I like the looks of 16, i personally am getting 17's.
Keep it clean. Have fun.

Sweet looking car. Its just waiting for all the SC/T goodies. Hood, Spoiler, Kit. It would look killer. I say no airbrushing or stripes, just leave it how it is.
But go SC/T, Black Headlights w/ clear Reflector, some nice 5 spoke chrome rims, and I think it'd be one of the sexiest GA's around.

It actually looks like a blue that GM used on Caprices in the 90s. I'm sure it's use was much more extensive, but that's all I recall. It came out before the Purple Haze color was introduced and was very popular locally if I recall correctly.
