I cannot express enough the gratitude I have for those of you who helped me out with the smokin dakota issue.
Jason and Beth- If it wasnt for you and your AAA card Id still be sitting there
John-If it wasnt for your directions who knows where the truck would have ended up, thanks for the ride as well!
Sean and Kelly- I'm sure you guys had better things to do rather than sit on a bridge for an hour...You guys are like fathers to me!
Ben-Even though I will regret this, the owned sign was hilarious!
Mel-If it wasnt for your driving my brakes would have been fine...j/k Thanks for not jumping off the bridge!
last but certainly not least...
RJ, thank you for taking the time to fix my brakes on your day off and saving me a shitload of money!
Its people like all of you that make this world a better place
This will certainly not go unnoticed for a very long time and come hell or high water I will make it up to all of you!

You are welcome, this is what makes this board and meet so great. Everyone is there to look out each other and I am sure that if any of us had been in your postion, you would have been there to help the same.

That was nothing buddy, we all felt like it was our brakes that locked up (literally, we were all thinking it was us when we started smelling it!).
I still say we should've had it towed to NE Acura and "paid them a visit"...

well the brake scenerio isnt over yet.....when i got home yesterday afternoon I noticed the pedal was going to the floor, then i noticed a puddle next to my left front when i got out...I didnt have time to check what it was but I'm sure one of the bolts is loose and its letting brake fluid spill out. I fly home in about an hour so I should be able to look tonight

I took the tire off and noticed the washer was a tad too big for the bolt, i went ahead and replaced it and its fine
i didnt have any luck finding a used spindle but I did get a quote on a new one and it was outrageous
thanks again for the help!

it was a washer that was too big, no big deal
edit: err sorry i thought you were talking about the leak, no its not fixed, i need a new spindle, i have a lead on one at a local junkyard but no price yet
I'd say all the people mentioned in your thank you John are definitely the right kinda people in this world (Well maybe not Mel, I hear she broke your brakes  )
But that is exactly why this site is as great as it is, we are all like one big family, you can't find that anywhere else :) Kudos to you all for Helping John out!

Blake, even though it was not a hi-lite in the weekend, we made the most of it and actually had a good time on teh side of the road, on a overpass in the burning sun.
I was about 10 minutes from pulling my grill out of the back of the trailer and start cooking us up some dinner. lol
