got pulled over

ok, some of you know i had problems with my new GT tails. so at like 3:15 am on my way home i get pulled overin NJ. i thought i was a dead man cause my PA licenace is expired.
the cop asked me for licance and registration. i asked him what it was about and he said i had a light out and my plate lihgt was out. he asked the usual, was i drinking, do i have druggs or weapons. i said no and he went back to his car. he comes back about 2 min later and says thank your good. i told him i would fix my light and went home. it was weird. i dont know if or how he missed my licance being expired.

but anyway i wanted to thank Jim (tenspeed) for helping me with the lights. so in the morning i took some sand paper to the harnes and got the corrosion off and now they work fine :D

dont sweat it. its AED's fault for haveing crappy harnesses and causeing it to oxidize and caroad(sp). im glad i "DE-AED'd" part of my car. its nice to have lights that fit :D

I cut the ends off of my harness and made new ends that plug right in and lock like OEM

good to hear you didn't get any tickets out of it

cool. thats not a bad idea. oh well. i kinda like the stock GTs anyway. if i didnt get AEDs i would have got the GTs. The SE lights are so gross :lol:

Yeah.. especially it being a NJ cop.. you're lucky you made out as well as ya did.
Was it a state trooper, or a local one?

At 3 AM, they are looking for DWI's and warrents. They'll pull you over for anything and let you go with a warning if you're clean. I used to get off work at midnight and got pulled over so much that I started taking back roads home.

i was shocked. a NJ cop lettin a PA driver go.

like i said he did ask if i was drinking, or had druggs, when my last ticket was. he said i was driving on the shoulder, but i was tring to stay on 202(i think) around some circle. he was sittin in the circle so i assume he was local

cops do that all the time just to get at bigger fines for their quota. he may have stopped you for your light, but he was looking for DUI or DWI or even something more suspect.
