It has tint, about 70 percent, but it's still tint. Geez you people and your tint's. :) Personally I think lighter tint looks better, but I'm the only one aparently. Definatly DON"T do the limo tint thing on the backs and lighter on the front. It doesn't work on GAs in my opinion. SUVs and limos maybe, not on a GA.
The best way to get that clean engine look is to close the hood. It's like cleaning behind the refrigerator. Why bother? I won't tell if you won't.
BTW, if you live in PA, you can't have tint. I suppose a "niner niner you can't have no tint" would be rude.

yeah tint is illegal in Pa. and i wasnt really thinking about getting any. but do you guys have any other suggestions? i really hate having an uncosutumized car because its so plain and common you know. i am getting a catback exhaust sometime in the near future hopefully. I don't know how near because of college and everything but definately within the next year. I am imbetween borla and SLP. Borla sounds better but SLP is a lil more than half the price of borla. and other than that i would like to customize the interior with some chrome or fiber glass look..... but yeah i haven't really worked up the courage to experiment with that yet.

If your car is an 03 then why doesn't it have the flavor ridges that 03's are supposed to have?
I see you have chrome trim. You could black it out to match the mirrors and a-plliars or you could paint the mirrors and a-pllars body colored. I'm not sure about that part though, it may be too much green with too little trim. Many people on here advocate buying different mirrors, so that's an option also. Something less round mouse ear shaped. I like them personally, but I'm in the minority.
Also vinyl graphics are very popular right now. Not alot because that would look silly, but a few. Maybe the Grand Am on the rear most glass on the rear doors or a black overlay for the front Pontiac Emblem. Perhaps even body colored. You could body color everything and go for a very sleek look, or increase the black trim for a more subtle yet cool look, or even add more chrome to tie in the wheels and window trim for a classic style.

Only the GT's have the ridges i have a Se with the 3400 engine. sooo i have no ridges... i personally like it better without the ridges. The wax i used was rainx ultra wax.... i am not sure how good of a wax that is. It was my first time waxing any car and my brother gave me some wax and we both waxed our cars. He used turtle wax though.
I personally love my car. I think it was a good deal when i got it i think. Back in march we went and it was priced at 12500 with 35000 miles and we returned the next week when they had a "sale" and they priced the same car at 16500. They recognized us from the week before and we all gave them crap about how they were being a dishonest dealership and such . They dropped the price down to 10500 including tags, tax, and tranfer fees and such. The car is in great shape nothing wrong with it but alot of places i go the grand am does not get alot of credit at all.

Dark Metallic Green is a good color for that car. Keep up the good work!
