Project: Engine Swap

Hey everyone, does anyone know if the 97 Chevy Malibu 3100 will match up to everything in the 95 GA? I was thinking about doing an engine swap, I was gonna get the other engine and do all kinds of stuff to it, like, P&P heads, LIM, UIM, get a bigger throttle body (maybe), put the smaller pulley on, and maybe even try the headers(3400 TOG). Let me know what you think, what kind of problems might I run into. My main questions are, will the tranny fit, will the motor mounts mount in the right place, I dont want to buy this engine unless I know it could work.

It'll work fine. The motor mounts will work, on my '99 (came out of a Buick), it had different places for the mounts, the ones that attach to the front of the car. All I had to do was remove those brackets and mount mine on, and all of the holes are there for that. The transmission will bolt right up. And you'll have to change a few electrical things.
