Nice Car, but I dont think those rims fit your car too well, try to get some darker color on your exterior.

Did you photoshop your sig pic to be lowered?

Constructive criticism.

1. Tint the tails. SE tails look better mildly tinted, It makes the lines less visible.
2. Smaller wheels with more tire would look better on a GA. It make the car look like something from matchbox if the wheels are too big for the car.

Nice car :) that sun in the pictures makes it look REALLY bright. I like it when it's in the shade. The pic looks nicer shows the color better. My opinion anyway.

Last year everybody loves the rims. Now everybody hates em. Wow. Yes the drop is photo chopped for my sig. I tried tinting my windows and it didn't work out very well so I peeled it all off. Yes I'm trying to sell the car. Any one want it? 5 speed. Prolly one of the rarest grand ams out there because of the 5 speed. I've got it listed for $7,500. Flame on.

That's the problem with trying to follow the fads, fads change way too fast. Anytime you thing of buying the "latest" thing just remember that at one time butterfly collars and bright green leisure suits were in.

The current fad is actually leaning towards raising cars up instead of lowering them. Just another fad I won't have any part of.

On a practiacal point though the wheels cost you driveability and comfort and the tiny tires actually are prone to allow rim damage if you hit a pothole, or withthose tires a drink bottle in the road.

never did like a 6 spoke rim on a grand am, but the rest looks good, 5 spd ftw

I think the rims would be sweet if you really did drop it.

Well it's a Weapon R WAI for the GA, and an Injen WAI for an eclipse. And a lot of custom fabricating. I even took the fog light out for more air. I had the Injen WAI laying around because I got it after I sold my eclipse. So I just customized it to make it work. And man does it work! Huge difference. I will never buy a WAI again. Worthess. U get sound but really no performance. I'm gonna paint the Weapon R red and the valve cover red too. So eventually the intake will be red and black. I didn't put those rims on because of a fad. I put them on cause they're the fattest rims I had ever seen. They look so awsome when they R moving. I'll have to get a pic of that for U guys. I want to drop it but I am saving for struts. I want to do springs and struts at the same time. Do it right or don't do it at all. That's something that I have learned over the years.

yeah I agree with the droppage... it will definitely make the wheels look better

b2089, i have to DISagree w/ the idea of more tire less wheel... that shit looks lame (IN MY OPINION) and is more suited for maybe an old school car, but nothing past like 1975 lol

another thing you can do to jazz it up a lil bit is try and buy a GT kit. There are a few people on here who have body kits, and unless they are total dicks, should sell you a whole kit for like 150 - 200 bucks. Its not like they need it :) (or you can luck out in a junk yard maybe)

My last suggestion for you about having your foglight out, is if you do that when its raining, you make suck water into your motor and get hydro lock... that's it for that motor...lol

buying Gt tails like people had said, getting dual post mirrors AND painting them... if you can't break the bank, do the small things first. Sometimes its the subtle touches that stand out

at the end of the day you need to remember its your car, and you can do what you want with it. Unless your name is Red Baron AHAHAHHAHA ZING!!!!

*snuck that one in there

You can go for looks or you can get what performs. Wheels are spun weight so they are very difficult to offset with other weight reductions, and the ride will suffer no matter what. A good balance on a GA would be 18's MAX, no larger. Of course to truely perform the fronts would be larger that the rears but that would look dumb.

I guarantee you he lost all his gains from the CAI set up when he put those heavey wheels on the car.

However styling is very important, I'll agree on that and good 18's do look nice on a GA.

edit----

For what it's worth, Gus I like your wheels. They suit the car. I'm not sure why I didn't like Tony's as much. Maybe it's the style to the car or something. I AM old school after all ;) I talked about weight and performance but part of me still likes wheels with more meat to them despite the increased weight. I guess it's just personal preference.

Tint that thing and the obviousness of the wheels wont stand out so much.

:roll2: comfort...who needs it, it's a pontiac, not a cadillac.

anyways, i have 18"s on my car myself. Your rims look good, they're not out of place, and they aren't blingey, keep up the good work buddy.

i LOVE the rims...if they were smaller...same rims, more tire, and they would be killer!
