Pics of black rims with polished lips (plz)

I've had a change of heart. For some reason, I was driving home and got this idea that my red GA would look sweet with black 17" rims and a polished lip. I'm thinking of various styles, and I've got just a few here. Let me know what you think. If any of you have black rims, let me see plz :) And if you've got a red ga with black rims - even better, let me see :) I'm gonna research this for a couple months, and hopefully I can use some of my tax return or something to buy the rims. I'll also have springs and struts installed at the same time, so hopefully I can get everything over time, then do the install at our shop, then drive next door for an alignment.

Just a few ideas of what I'm thinking of. I have a feeling some of those multi-spoke rims, like the few at the end, will really look sweet on the ga.

i like the 1st and 3rd because they are unique... those would be what i would want, mainly the 1st though.

Gunmetal with pol lip - mmmmm.... good

They're the third one but not in Hyperblack.

I like black on red, but I think the gunmetal will also look pretty sweet too. I was looking for some of those in bronze. but I couldn't find any. I think bronze on red would look decent.

Black rims are HOT. Except I wouldn't want anything with more than five or six "spokes" because then they look like bicycle wheels or remind me of "old people cars" :lol: I don't know why!

For 1 and 3, I'm leaning towards the gunmetal now, like my 2nd post. For 5, prolly the black.

Yeah, I know what you mean - until the other day. I love 5 spokes, hence the 1st choice, and they look better and better every time I look at them. Wheelsnext doesn't have a simulator to put them on the car. I'd wanna see what gunmetal and black would look like.

Those other rims, especially the 3rd choice, I think would look sweet, but again, I know how a 5 spoke looks on a GA, so I trust it. As awesome as those look, I still wanna see them.

definately the first. Can't beat a 5spoke. Leaves you to show off your painted calipers(if you have them or will have them) and they are sporty

i'm pretty sure the wheels that wrp is posting are RWD only... i've been shopping for a long time to get a gun metal / hyper black wheel w/ a dish

I got a dish the length of ure pointer finger, but its kinda weird how they are shaped...

the wheels I got are Katana ZR-5 in 19's... giggity

Alright, made my choice, now gonna start saving for the first choice, the Kobe's in 17" in either gunmetal or black. I'm thinking black mainly.

Cuz they look kinda like yours. Now that I have a good view of your car, I can see how the multispoke would look good, but I think I'm gonna stay with the black 5 spoke on the red ga, but your setup looks sweet. I'm def gonna go the pol lip route :)
