What reason do you have for wanting to sell your 94gt for one thats 2 years older with 2 less cylinders?

because the motor is being rebuilt and i just thought the quad was a much better engine and it has like 180 hp i think

Im not sure of the exact specs for the 92 quad but it should have has a little more HP and a bunch less torque, also being a 92 its probably a 3 speed while 94's are 4 speed.

Overall the quads have a bad rap for breaking themselves and they are loud as shit (not good loud either, sounds like they are going to explode when you accelerate lol).

So if all else is equall I would personaly take the 94, but if the 92 is in allot better condition that could change my mind.
As for engines, I prefer the v6 cause its just soooo much smoother runing, reliable, and you would feel the V6's extra torque more then the quads few extra HP.

The condition of the car would be the deciding factor. Depending on what your uncle is rebuilding, a freshened Quad 4 will be both reliable and fun. Thoroughly inspect the rest of the chassis. If both your car and this 92 GT are on level ground, I'd take the 92 with the Quad 4 HO. If for some reason it's not the HO, (LD2 auto or SOHC) I'd pass.

2 less cylinders, but over 1 second faster in the quarter mile stock.

Try both before you offering a (v6) biased opinion. Quad 4 HO = 5-speed manual only... can't get that on V6. Being quiet isn't the point of an HO Quad 4.

Although I have never driven a GA with a quad 4 (and I cant say I know much about them first hand, just what I have heard/read), I have passanged in one and thats where my V6 biased opinion came from.

While im sure being quiet isn't the point of a HO Quad 4, im also not sure that racing is the point of (most) grand am's, and for me I would prefer a V6 GA for a daily driver.

Personal preference I guess.

Any discussion's I have ever read/heard about quad 4's seem to have people on either side with strong opinons about them, so I would just check it out, take it for a spin, and do what feels right for you and what you like.
