Beautiful weather in chicagoland today so I gave her a bath and pulled her to the back of my lot and snapped some pics. Makes for a nice backdrop.

LOVE that second pic! I really want to take some pics like this of my car but I don't know of any places that would allow me to do so without the cops being called on me for trespassing... :(

Thanks, and Joliet is a real good size town so not exactly our claim to fame although I have had a few comments as of late when speaking with some people over the phone. On a side note the twin playmates heff had on his shoulder a few years back were both from joliet also.

I was down in Joilet around the time they were filming.. And they actually bought their cake at the bakery right behind my house :lol:

is it me or does the front bumper look to be a lighter shade of silver?

car looks good otherwise.

I dunno it just looks less shiny to me than the rest of the car, but I think it looks the same shade

Cool, thanks! Yes the front bumper is faded, I'm working on getting that replaced soon, just bought a house so cant toss around money like I used to. I bought the precut/bent mesh grill inserts months ago just waiting to replace/repaint that bumper. Perhaps a sc/t knock off hood also while I'm at it, ahh the life of a home owner *sigh*. But otherwise she's in excellent shape and I keep her clean and thanks again on GAOTW.
