I read something about a guy who painted all his cars that way and he gave quite detailed directions on how he did it, are you following that (I dont remember where I saw it, was in some forum) or doing your own idea?
What type of paint are you using with the foam roller?
Either way I really wanted to see the results, and hear how it worked out for someone else!
Hard to tell from those picks cause it looks like its raining or something, but looks good so far!

I don't think I ever quite remember why you quit driving it. Your AVA info says you drive the impala? What's the deal? Either way looks good.

Vhrus- i first learned about this method in a truckin mag. then got back into after reading a forum about it some guy with a charger.
im using rustolem enamel paint thinned with mineral spirits

lol glad you asked. the pass headlight is missing because i removed the angel eyes for my quad tail light project on the impala.
mirror is missing because there was a bee hive in it since it was sitting for so long.
driver side mirror is brown cause i burnt it will killing bees. lol
tonight it might rain but i should be good enough to wetsand and polish if im quick enough

well i didnt finish my hood. i figured id remove my rear bumper before it got dark. and after doing so i found some rust spot that i will have to take car of before i move any further.
im still stuck on the 2 ton i want the 2 bumpers in grey so i may just do a top and bottom thing

Those mirrors r tight! Did you buy them that way or did you mod them yourselves? I really want 'em. Nice job btw. You don't see too many black GAs like ours.

well i never polished it. lol its been sanded i kinda wanna get it all done at once. i have the rear off and thats getting painted im trying something diff with that.
but i dont think i will be getting a nice shine after i polish the trunk and hood tho. or even a dull one. this project is more difficult then i thought it would be. but i guess it would help if i worked on it more.
im going to be pushing this project this week and try to get it done for next weekend. i will keep you posted
