lol,
I just did my car and it was the same color... however when I was bleeding it the fluid coming out was brown / rusty.
supposedly its recommended to change rbake fluid every 2 years as the fluid is hydroscopic (absorbs water). the darker the fluid, the more saturated with water the fluid is.

Well I did do a tank change in the the wagon and malibu. The malibu's was dark but the wagon was something different.

Cory the sad thing is my motorcycle's rear resevior looks pretty close to that and it's only slightly over a year old. However it is DOT5 which should be changed more regularly.
