This may be caused by the sensors in the hubs or the connectors / wiring going to them . Check the connectors at the hubs for corrosion etc. , also the sensor in the hub itself could be bad , in which case you have to replace the entire unit .. :(

Get it scanned with a "Tech 2" scanner at a dealership. Some dealerships will charge just to scan, make sure you find out first. The dealership by me did not charge me to scan mine which was cool.

Had the same problem with mine. I also replaced the hub/sensor and the trouble lights cam back a few weeks ago...mostly when I was turning the wheel. I cut out the plastic connection and as much old wire in the harness as I could, then I soldered new wiring in without the connection. This seems to have worked and I have no more trouble lights. The wiring I cut out seemed really old and corroded and I was forced to use a crimp connector as the solder didn’t seem to stick to it. If I knew where the sensor wires ended I would have run new wires.

I had this same issue on my 04 se. Had it in the shop 4-5 times b/f they figured it out. They found that it was a loose/ bad fuse conection in the master fuse box in the engine compartment. They replaced the entire box and no issue since. They showed me that they could wiggle the fuse and it tripped the sensors and the dash lit up like christmas. Prior to this they did the shotgun approach fixing what the though it could have been instead of really trying to identify the issue. So the final time they had the car for 4 days. I think they were sick of seeing me and wanted to stop my visits to he dealer.

Any dealer can scan the EBCM for the trouble codes, and diagnose it from there. There are tests you can perform on the Wheel Speed Sensor iteslp with a simple multi-meter to determine if it is the problem. If not, a break on the connection elsewhere may be to blame, as in your case.

Just had my ebcm crap out on me. The casing was corroded and cracked and I’m sure water was getting in.

The ebcm is in the worst location I have ever seen so I suggest everyone with the ebcm in the same location should make sure the case is in good condition.

A new one form the dealer will set you back $1200 but a scrap yard would be the way to go.

You have 4 wheel sensors, replacing 1 means that you have 3 others that may be intermittent. The dealership scanner will tell you which one but if it resets before you get there, there may not be a reading.

mine came on while turning (just the TC light) and the others came on once a month or so randomly; usually when it was wet outside or within a couple days. In those occasions I'd stop at a redlight or pull over and restart the car. It'd be good until next time.
