My grand am wil be gone, but it will still be around

Im trading my car to LukeD. hes giving me a 2000 black GAGT sedan thats 100% stock + money. Im not going to disclose the amount, but the deal works out for both of us. this car that im getting will stay 100% stock.

his S/Ced red GT is wecked now (RIP bad ass car) and he wants a nice platform to start with on another buildup, while i need a good winter car for my move to the east coast, and then either keep it as a winter beater or trade it for a new car.

what im looking to get (in no particular order):
- 05 or 06 GTO
- 06 350Z
- 06 maxima
- 07 mustang GT
- 06 titan
- 06 tahoe (probably not though)

ill be looking in the $30k range, and if i keep the GAGT then itll be cool to have a 6 speed. :D

yea mike, we will still chill and i will have a black GT. who knows, maybe ill do some minor stuff to the newer one. chances are will do minor things to just make it run better.

and honestly, my decision on actually going through with this was partially because i know he will appreciate the car. i didnt want to sell this car to a high schooler who would abuse it and destroy it, even if they had offered me the $8500.

first off, luke never said anything about wrecking his car. i guess he hasnt felt like talking about it. i was a bit shocked to hear about it.

he hasnt said exactly what his plans are. i suggested that he use the rear discs off his GT, and then pull that motor and trans, build up the motor, then drop it all into "my" grand am.

my car has 126k miles, but honestly, its runnign better than it ever has. when i go to the dealership, at first they look at my car with dollar signs in their eyes, by the time i get the car back, they are depressed because nothing needed fixing.

i cleaned out the IAT last weekend and now it idles as good as it did when new. all this time i assumed that it idled kinda rough because of the exhaust.

honestly, im leaning toward the 350z. a lot of it really depends on what deals i can get.

yea Dave, the guy with teh GTO i KINDA know him. i know he treats his cars well and this car is, as it says 1 in 181 of the monero (sp?) GTO's built in Australia. this car is friggin HOT! and it's right on the east coast :D he isn't a member on here but his email address is in there.

Saleen is making the Parnelli Jones Boss 302, but there is still alot of rumors about Ford making their own or a Mach or Bullitt to bridge the gap between their 300 hp 4.6, and the 400 some in the Hemi and LS2 when the challenger and 'maro hit.

I like Saleen but in my opinion his stuff is way overpriced for what it is.

Anyway, I still stand by some sort of pony as the fun car :D

i know...i am finally happy with it, but it wasnt built with the intent to move out of so cal. thats why i really wanted to find a person here to buy it and use it for how i built it. i really didnt want to part it out, and as long as everything works out with luke, it will stay that way.
