Ok, I've read the best way to clean the intake is to soak it in, carb cleaner? If not carb clean, than what else works good?

Also, the intake isn't a pain in the rear end to take off, is it? Next time I get the chance, I'm cleaning off a few other parts I've read about helping the engine run better. I've already cleaned the throttle body out real good.. and it's as clean as can be. When I was cleaning the TB I realized the Intake looked awful.

Best suggestions would be appreciated.

One small question, if a wheel baring is out in a front wheel, would it make a loud thumping sound when the wheel is spinning? I haven't had a chance to take it off and look yet.

seafoam should work good to get the carbon cleaned out of the manifold.

bad wheel barings make a humming noise that goes with the speed of the car.

it could be a bad tire or check your tie rod ends and other suspension parts.. be careful driving with wierd noises in your front end! something falls apart up there and you wreck?! worry about tope end later lol. it's not terribly hard to take off the intake. take off the throttle body first, the coil pack, whatever else is in the way i don't remember. =)

we went from intakes to wheel bearings?
carb cleaners work, but you need the elbow greese.
