OLM is not resetting

Had the oil canges but the shop could get the OLM light to reset. Brought the car home and used both preceedures, the reset button and hitting the acc pedel 3 times but still cannot get the "change oil light" to go off.
Any other suggestions on resetting this?

The accelerater is not involved. You push the button, the chimes go off, you then hold the button.

Wrong. It is one of 2 ways to reset the OLM.

To the OP: Is the ignition switch in the 'On' position before pressign the reset button or the accellerator?

Yes the key is in the on position, with the engine not running.
