It's what now??? :???:
I think you mean stretched? Anway you can indeed fix it without a mechanic, it isn't hard.
The throttle cable is not adjustable--you have to replace the entire thing.
What I'd like to know though, is how it got stretched. That cable should not normally stretch. Also given how new your car is, especially, there's no reason for there to be a problem with it.

Before you buy a new cable, check both ends. Cables don't stretch, they break.
One of the ends may have come loose.

But for the 3.1 and 3.4, at the throttle body there is a pair of 'bellcranks' that serve the throttle cable and the cruise control cable.
If you remove the throttle body for some service, this assembly must be twisted out of the way, and or the cables disconnected.
It is almost idiot-proof, but if it's re-installed incorrectly one or both cables will be very loose.
In proper postion, the throttle cable is slightly loose, mebbe 1/4" movement of the bellcrank to tighten IIRC.
So, if you disassembled the TB and/or messed with the cable ends and bellcranks, re-do everything.
Hope this helps.

The turn signal sound has been covered. There may be a recall on it. I think it's in the hazard button.
Power steering leak should be easy to see.
Grandparents are usually easy on cars. The problems you describe are common to GA's.
