Because I regularly used that site for repairs and today it's tellnig me that it's completely gone now. What happened over there? Did something just happen?

I didn't even know this site existed, but I am glad I found a home for my GAGT!! I felt so lost for a moment there. I have repairs to do and I need resources!

If that other site is gone, I would say your membership here is going to skyrocket unless people were already members of both sites. I am soo happy to be here!

I was on gagt yesterday and there was quite the bitch fest. 2 or 3 guys were bashing the owner and he must have gone over the edge. Can't believe that he would take it down perminately. A lot of the guys are pretty young and a lot of the old timers have moved onto other cars and don't log on as much. One member there got banned and some were trying to defend him. They put up a message he had on another forum. That's about all I know.

Oh I totally feel your sentiments there... I am not one to create controversy or drama. I get enough of that from my wife!

I just can't understand how a few bad folks ruined the whole site for everyone. That seems to be a very immature approach to take. I mean implement an age limit or something. Sounds like things got a little too personal between the moderators or founders of the site. I like your approach here, ZERO tolerance for that stuff! Message boards are really taking a beating from spam lately and you have to be tough on that stuff or else you get run over. I have a lot of respect for the folks at GAGT.com, but I just really think their response to whatever happened was really unnecesssary.

Anyway, it's a great loss, because there were some really cool people over there and a lot of good information. I am hoping you guys have the same or greater caliber of respect and knowledge on these boards. I like what I have seen so far. Hopefully I'll run into a few old friends. Off to troubleshoot some problems! :D

I would look at both sites daily and there are many similarities. Both have a good group of people (many are signed on to both sites) and information is easy to find.
