Hmm well maybe something else is wrong or another bulb isnt functioning properly.....sometime that light can be a pain

then logic would tell us that something else is wrong, if it were just for headlights, I would hope that they would make a light just for that

SVS can be a number of things.. burnt out lamp, malfuncitoning high/low beam circuit, drl circuit, als circuit, yadda yadda. The reason the cars have those lights is so if you can't see what is wrong just by looking, go get the DTC read!! obdII is your friend.

I just took my car in to the dealer because I was having problems with my headlamps. During the day the DLRs wouldn't work and the SVS light would come on. At night only the passenger's headlamp would work fine, but the driver's side headlamp would be stuck in DLR mode and the SVS light would come on. Also, the headlamp connector on the driver's side is all burned out. The dealer ran a diagnostic and said that it was some sort of DLR failure. DUH!!! They also said that they would have to replace the whole wiring harness for the headlamps to see if that fixed it. Someone recommended to check the DLR and auto lamps relays and maybe replace them. Anyways, I would say go to the dealer and have it checked. Most repair shops don't have a code reader for that.
