New pics of the daily driver 00 Civic Si

Today I stirpped and refinished the valve cover. Stock the US versions com black. The Jap versions are red. Compared to a 150.00 newvalve cover I spent $7.00 on the red paint, and had the stripper and texture coat around the house. A few hours later voila...nearly the same results as if I bought an new valve cover.

Other items in the pics include, Authentic Mugen Pedals...they're really nice. I wanted them because the stock rubber pads allowed your shoes to slip offthe clutch & brake in the wet, these don't. :)

In the trunk, just a plane jane box, with a new JL Audio 12w3, but on each side is where I got custom. Polk SR series crossovers, WAY too big to go in the doors so I had to do something fancy with them.on the opposite side an Eclipse XA4000 4 channel amp 150wx2 for the fronts and bridged 350watts to the sub. I'm not running rears, just fronts and a sub.

And the only decal on the on the car aside from my club logo. :D

....because I'm a domestic guy who owns a Honda.:lol: Everyone loves the I heart Cops sticker. When I mod the car I'm doing it to show peole tht Hondas can be done tastefully. So far so good, I think. All the Mugen stuff is authentic, not ebay rip offs(oil cap, rad. cap, pedals, reservoir socks, and rear trunk emblem).

Thanks alot everyone. These comments coming from mainly domestic "peeps" and who often jokingly rag on Hondas and honda owners it makes me feel special that I'm somewhat accepted. :lol:

Yeah..I wanted to keep the install simple and clean not much crazy custom stuff. The Sub sounds good off that amp. Its getting 350watts so its right where it should be. Its no SPL machine, but I'm happy with it.

Its basically a stock exterior 2000 Honda Civic Si. :lol: Its funny but I get more attention and compliments with this car then I do with the Grand Am. Just the other day I had some girl come in looking for a dash kit for a 2002 Civic and she was going nuts over my car. No flashy paint, or wheels. Its not even lowered (yet).

This pic is a few months old. Just picked it up from getting the windows tinted (20%). The only Things I've changed on the out side since this pics are, I removed the headlight eyelids, and added an antenna block off plate (that's a cool jdm thing :lol:)

The day I put the "I heart cops" sticker on, I was leaving my friends house at about 2am and a cop followed me all the way untill I turned onto my street(about 3-4 miles). It was Nice of them to make sure I got home safe!
