ok, here goes:

whenever I turn to the right (after about 45 degrees) I hear a thump from under the floorboard, I just installed a new drivers side sway bar end link to try to fix it, could it be the bushings for the middle of the sway bar itself?

Could be a CV-Joint. Is it just one thump, or a bunch of thumps in succession?

one thump when I turn to the right and another when I return the wheel to the center

What is ttt?

Sounds to me like CV-Joints.

CV joints are a clicking sound not a thump, I stopped and saw another mechanic last night, and we started thinking it was a strut

Did you get any clunking going over large bumps while turning? I have that problem along with the oncasional thump like you get when turning..
